Chlorpyriphos is an organophosphate insecticide, which acts as a neurotoxin. It acts by in- hibiting of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, that is essential for normal function in insects.
Alphacypermethrin is a highly active pyrethroid, with broad-spectrum of application that acts as a stomach and contact poison.
Cartoos is a combination product consisting of CHLORPYRIPHOS and ALPHA-CYPERME- THRIN, which enables it to provide a more effective cover due to its dual action on insect central nervous system.

Cartoos has dual channel of action on nervous system of the insect, that is, Chlorpyriphos acts by inhibiting production of acetylcholinesterase enzyme disrupting nerve signals and compromising the nervous system of insect. And Alphacypermethrin affects the central nervous system by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in the axonal membranes.

- Fill the spray tank 1⁄4 with water, then add the required quantity of product.
- Apply within a few hours after mixing.
- Wet the whole plant thoroughly but avoid run-off and spray drift to non-target sites.
