Streptomycesis the largest antibiotic-producing genus, producing antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic drugs, and also a wide range of other bioactive compounds, such asimmu- no suppressants.

Streptomyces avermitilis is a bacteria that is responsible for producing avermectin, most widely used drugs against nematode and arthropod infestations.

Pro-Smith is a derivative of avermectin B1, that is broad spectrum, ultra-high efficiency in- secticide that acts by contact and as stomach posion.

Mode of Action

Pro-Smith works as a chloride channel activator disrupting nerve signals within arthropods. Neu- rotransmission is thereby reduced causing paralysis.

Method of Application

- Fill the spray tank 1⁄4 with water, then add the required quantity of product.
- Apply within a few hours after mixing.
- Wet the whole plant thoroughly but avoid run-off and spray drift to non-target sites.

Safety recommendations

- Do not use cooking utensils for preparing the spray solution. - Do not spray if the rains are expected.
